Secondary / Upper schools

Adeyfield - Hemel Hempstead

Open Evening will be held on Thursday 29th September

with small group tours between 15:00 and 19:00. The

Principal's speech will take place at multiple points

throughout the evening. Open Morning visits will run

20th September to 13th October on Tuesday,

Wednesday and Thursday mornings. This is an

opportunity to see the Academy in action. To book a

Ashlyns - Berkhamsted

Open Evening will take place on Thursday 6th October

2022 between 5.30pm and 8.30pm. The Headteacher’s

address will take place in the Chapel and is scheduled

for the following times: 5.45pm, 6.30pm and 7.15pm.

All sessions will be ticketed and these can be collected

upon arrival.

Astley Cooper (The) - Hemel Hempstead

We look forward to welcoming prospective families to

our Open Evening on Thursday 6th October from

6.45pm - 9.00pm. Due to the on-going building works

and limited access we will be offering guided tours

throughout the evening. The Headteacher's speech will

be posted on the school website. We have Open

Mornings on Tuesday 11th and Friday 14th October

11.35-12.35pm. However, places are limited, please

Avanti Grange Secondary School - Bishop's

Open Evening: Thursday 22nd September 2022,

Broxbourne (The) - Broxbourne

Our Open Evening will take place from 5.30pm to

8.30pm on Thursday 8th September with Headteacher's

Applications for the Aptitude Test for Languages, taking

place on Saturday 24th September, must be returned to

the school by 4pm on Wednesday 14th September.

Bushey Meads – Bushey

Thursday 22nd September 6pm - 9pm. 3x Headteacher

talks in the main hall. The entire school will be open to

visitors, fully staffed and with many existing students

helping out. Every faculty will showcase their subject

with a variety of fun and interactive tasks that all visitors

can participate in. Free refreshments will be available

throughout the event also.

Chancellor’s - Brookmans Park

Open Evening is on Thursday 22nd September 2022,

Chauncy – Ware

Open Evening is on Wednesday 12th October 2022

from 6.15pm to 9.00pm. You are invited to meet

students, staff and governors and to see work in

progress and on display. The Headteacher, Dennis

O’Sullivan, will speak at 6.30pm and 7.45pm.

Refreshments and parking will be available. Be

prepared - it will be very busy.

Croxley Danes School – Croxley Green

The Open Day will take place on Saturday 17th

September 2022. The morning event will run from

8.45am to 1.00pm and will focus on Secondary Transfer

admissions to Year 7 for 2023. The afternoon event will

start at 1.45pm and will be for students who are

interested in admission to the Sixth Form (Year 12) for

2023. The afternoon session will end at 3.30pm.

Dame Alice Owen’s - Potters Bar

Annual Open Afternoon: Tuesday 19th July 2022, 2–

5:30pm Booking is not required. Last tours at 4:30pm.
